Acetaia Guerzoni (vinegar factory) is first and foremost a family-run farm for three generations.
After many years of hard work in the countryside of the low plain around Modena, Arduino and Zina, putting together their savings, managed to buy an old farm surrounded by vineyards.
At the end of the 1970s, his son Felice and his wife Iride were already involved in running the farm. Witnesses to the damage that fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides of synthetic origin were causing in the surrounding countryside, they had the intuition to start a progressive conversion of the vineyards oriented towards organic and biodynamic farming methods. Today we can say that they were among the few Italian precursors to adopt a certification when organic certification did not yet exist in Italy. In the early 1980s, the company undertook to comply with the specifications of a German control body called Demeter, now known throughout the world for guaranteeing the biodynamic origin of many food products.
In the same years the production of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena began.
Today, Lorenzo, the third generation, manages the vinegar factory. Devoted to the tradition of his land and family, while accepting the challenges imposed by the times, he is committed to the production of both traditional and innovative genuine products, equipping the company with a modern and efficient structure. Acetaia Guerzoni currently has commercial contacts with more than 40 countries. This data represents the index of appreciation of their products.

Acetaia Delizia Estense
The founding year of Acetaia Delizia Estense (vinegar factory) dates back to 1970. Born thanks to the passion for Traditional Vinegar of Modena of Sante Bertoni, who decided to buy vineyards of Trebbiano and Lambrusco Grasparossa traditional grapes located on the splendid hilly setting of Montegibbio, in territory of Sassuolo.
The altitude of about 350 meters (1.150 feet) above sea level, the proximity of natural woods, the marl soil and the southwestern exposure of the vineyards give the grapes precious aromas. The intense heat of the summer months preceding the harvest allows the grapes to ripen a high sugar concentration which, contributing to the spontaneous bacterial fermentation, develops the typical sweet and sour taste of vinegars.
Organic farming, innovative methods and respect for tradition have always been the management criteria of a family business, but appreciated worldwide for the quality of its products.
Today the company involves Sante's son Michele and his wife Alessandra, as well as his nephew Enrico. Faithful to the passion of the founder and guided like him by the pursuit of excellence, they have been proudly carrying out the project for over 50 years.
Acetaia Delizia Estense currently produces, in addition to Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, also other types of refined condiments.
